Mark E. Kozar
Mark Kozar received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 and his B.S. in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976.
He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in 1996. Mr Kozar was also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2001. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Technology and Rules Committees.
Following law school, Mr. Kozar joined the Pittsburgh-based law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart as an associate in the litigation department, where he concentrated his practice on intellectual property litigation and counseling. In 2002, he joined the firm of Santoro & Reinsel, where his focus was primarily commercial litigation. In 2002, Mr. Kozar started his own practice, during which time he handled liquor licensing renewal and transfer matters.
At Flaherty & O’Hara, P.C., Mr. Kozar handles all aspects of liquor licensing issues, concentrating on Pennsylvania licensing transactions, licensing hearings and litigation.
