Stanley J. Wolowski
Stanley J. Wolowski received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1980 and his B.A. in Economics from Dickinson College in 1977.
He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in 1980. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
He began his legal career in Mercer County (PA) representing indigent defendants in criminal cases upon graduating in 1980. Four years later, he joined the Pittsburgh law firm of Rothman Gordon Foreman & Groudine as an associate in the litigation department. In 1988, he joined the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement as head of the Pittsburgh legal office. As lead prosecutor for the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for Western Pennsylvania, he prosecuted thousands of liquor code enforcement cases before Administrative Law Judges for the Liquor Control Board, Pennsylvania courts of common pleas, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He also argued a Liquor Code enforcement matter before the United States Supreme Court.
At Flaherty & O’Hara, Mr. Wolowski handles all types of liquor license enforcement cases and liquor licensing matters, with an emphasis on multi-state transactions, licensing hearings, marketing compliance and litigation.
